BASE∙ LINE

A person’s state of mind in the absence of stress.
A line used as a base for which all other things are measured.
The process of managing change.

Our Beginnings

Back To Baseline began with a simple principle: Life Happens.

Despite our best intentions, life happens to even the best of us. Our homes get messy, our closets get cluttered, paperwork piles up, and we get stressed out. Even though this is completely normal, it can be hard to get caught up, or as our founder's mother would say, “I just need to get Back To Baseline.”

Since our inception in 2016, the organizers at Back To Baseline have helped countless clients take things off their plate and conquer the chaos whether at home or at the office. After implementing our organizing solutions, clients are able to spend more time at their baseline, free from stress, and prioritizing what is important to them.

Today, we are known for our unique project approach that begins with a consultation and creation of a Baseline Blueprint, which includes your personal preferences, goals, style, and budget. No matter what project you would like to tackle, our systems will help you not only get organized, but stay organized.

If you have stuff that's stressing you out and you’re ready for a change, we can help you manage the process of getting Back To Baseline.

Our Founder

Katherine Hall has been organizing overwhelmed professionals and busy families for years, by designing systems that alleviate stress and give clients more time for the important things in life.

Katherine’s educational background in research science coupled with her professional training in interior design gives her a unique perspective about the importance of infusing both art and science into our systems for a well-balanced environment. Focusing on the science creates functional and practical solutions that are proven to work, while simultaneously incorporating the art brings beauty and aesthetic bliss.

As a leader in the organizing and productivity industries, Katherine currently serves on the NAPO Los Angeles Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelors degree in Geography with a minor in Geology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

When Katherine is at her baseline she is spending time outdoors, running, traveling, hiking, and going to brunch with her friends. She is extensively involved with many philanthropic organizations and has a passion for giving back.

Our Promise To Give Back

Back To Baseline believes that it is essential to give back. We donate our time and a portion of our proceeds to helping provide education and clean water to children around the world. Based in Southern California, our company knows all to well the dangers of lacking fresh water resources. Yet currently there are 2.1 billion people lacking basic access to clean water period, and women are disproportionately affected by this crisis. As a woman-owned business, we simply cannot accept this and we commit to making a positive impact on this issue. Here are a few philanthropic organizations that are near to our hearts and share our values:
